A Kid and a Candy Jar

What happens when a fourteen year old orphan discovers that you have just bought new candy and refilled the candy jar? He will probably dump it all out and choose which ones he wants. Even though you said he can have 3 he will probably take 5-10 and you’ll pretend that you didn’t notice or that you don’t care. He will also help you eat an entire bag of dried shrimp strips you bought on your trip. And, if you’re lucky you’ll snap a picture and enjoy the moment and seeing his happiness as he experiences part of childhood that he has missed out on the last  six plus years when he was forced to grow up quickly as he and his brothers were put into a children’s home and he tries to take care of them and himself.
